BuildSync builds AI software for commercial construction that automates submittal review and submittal package generation. It splits a submittal into individual products, extracts each technical characteristic, and checks it against the project plans and specifications, flagging non-compliant items with citations to the source documents. It sells to general contractors, MEP and specialty subcontractors, and engineering firms, and integrates with Procore.

Checks individual technical characteristics against specs instead of reviewing documents at a high level, and cites its sources. BuildSync says customers' submittal rejection rates fall from the industry's 30-40% to about 5%, with 70-80% less time spent on manual review.
