Canton Strategic Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: CNTN) is a Red Bank, New Jersey company focused on institutional blockchain adoption and the digitization of financial markets. It runs a Canton Coin digital asset treasury and operates a Super Validator node on the Canton Network, and it sells a locking service that helps other network infrastructure providers meet their Canton Coin commitment requirements. The company was formerly Tharimmune, Inc. and took its current name in February 2026; alongside the digital asset business it ran a clinical-stage biotechnology segment (GV104, a nalmefene buccal film for respiratory depression, and GV023, an oral anti-TNF-alpha antibody) until selling Gravitas Life Sciences, LLC in July 2026 to concentrate on its Canton Network strategy. CEO Mark Wendland, previously Partner and COO at DRW and a treasury leader at Citadel, was elected to the Canton Foundation board in March 2026.
What sets it apart
The first publicly traded company built around Canton Coin and the Canton Network, pairing balance-sheet exposure to the token with hands-on Super Validator operation, run by a team drawn from DRW, Citadel, Goldman Sachs and Galaxy Asset Management.
