About

Curadel Surgical Innovations develops near-infrared fluorescent contrast agents for image-guided surgery based on the FLARE technology, licensed from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Its lead agent, ZW800-1 (nizaracianine triflutate), is given intravenously so surgeons can see the ureters and avoid injuring them during abdominopelvic surgery, and is in a recruiting Phase 2/3 trial. The company is developing further agents to highlight tumors, blood vessels, nerves, lymph nodes and cartilage.

Zwitterionic near-infrared fluorophores from the FLARE platform, which can image two NIR channels at once in real time.
