About

Informuta builds software that forecasts whether an infection will become resistant to treatment. It maps whole-genome mutational signatures with models trained on longitudinal datasets, so clinicians can choose therapies less likely to fail. A peer-reviewed proof-of-concept study appeared in Nature Communications, and prospective clinical studies are underway. The company was co-founded in 2023 by Kalen Hall and Leo Williams, both Tulane PhD alumni.

Predicts resistance that emerges during treatment, not only resistance already present, using explainable genomic models.
