MASL is a first-in-class oral podoplanin inhibitor: a single blockade acts across the RAS-GTP, TGF-beta/SMAD, JAK-STAT, and Wnt/beta-catenin pathways, reducing tumor growth and invasion while blocking immune evasion, and it induces necrotic tumor cell death that stimulates host anti-tumor immunity.
