TrayVerify is a Baltimore-based company selling an AI meal-tray verification system for hospital and skilled nursing facility kitchens. A camera unit mounted above the tray line photographs each tray, compares it against the patient's diet order using computer vision, and returns an on-screen and audio pass or fail result in seconds, flagging missing items, wrong preparations, allergen conflicts and incorrect texture modifications before the tray leaves the kitchen. Every tray is stored as a timestamped, searchable image record for compliance and complaint resolution. The company reports that in its first deployment at a skilled nursing facility it scanned 16,244 trays over five months and flagged 3,519 for staff review.
