Matternet designs and operates an autonomous drone delivery network for urban and suburban package transport. Its system combines the M2 delivery aircraft, ground landing stations, a payload handling system, and cloud software that plans and manages flights. Matternet holds the FAA Type Certification and Production Certification for its drone delivery aircraft, and has flown tens of thousands of commercial flights across US and European cities, including revenue operations launched with UPS. In May 2026 it became a public company through a reverse merger with Los Altos Ventures Corp. alongside a private placement, with proceeds earmarked for its next-generation platform and expansion across healthcare, food, and retail delivery.
